Angela began serving Starling Avenue Baptist Church on January 2, 2023. She brings both knowledge and understanding from 37 years of experience in many areas of ministry, as well as enthusiasm and passion of a fresh expression of her call.
Barbara Rakes
Office Administrator
Barbara joined our staff in January of 2019. She comes to us after working with American National University for nearly thirty years. Barbara enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, reading, and going to the beach. Contact Barbara at church@starlingavenue.org.
Nolan Anthony Director of Music
Nolan joined our staff on August 13, 2023. His pursuit of a life-time career in church music has carried him through a Bachelor Degree in Organ Performance from Furman University to his current pursuit of Master of Music degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is excited to work with our Adult Choir and looks forward to providing meaningful worship music to our congregation.
